Anastasia's Mate
Anastasia's Mate pairs a knight and a rook against a king on the edge. The knight (typically on e7) covers g8 and g6, penning the king on the h-file, and the rook mates on h8/h1: often after a queen sacrifice on h-file to force the king there.
How to spot it: a knight on e7/e2 near the enemy king is the tell. If it locks the king onto the h-file, look for a rook or queen to invade with check along that file.
