Attraction (the Decoy)
An attraction lures an enemy piece: usually the king: onto a square where it can be forked, mated, or skewered. Often you sacrifice to drag it there.
How to spot it: spot a fork, skewer, or mate that would work if only the king or queen stood on a particular square: then find the (often sacrificial) check or capture that forces it there. "Come here so I can hit you."
