The Blind Swine Mate
The "blind swine" are two rooks doubled on the seventh rank. Rampaging along it they gobble pawns and, with a little help (or a queen check to force the king), deliver mate: the pigs on the seventh, as the old players called them.
How to spot it: get both rooks to the seventh (or second) rank against a king short of luft; the doubled rooks plus a check will often round the king up for mate.
