The Triangle Mate
The triangle mate is a queen-and-rook pattern: the queen mates from close range while a rook, a knight's-move away, guards the queen and the king's flight squares, the three key squares forming a triangle.
How to spot it: when your queen can sit right beside the enemy king, check whether a rook defends her and covers the escapes: the tight triangular net is mate.
